Writing Horror, need your fears please?
I’d like you to list some things that you fear, preferably deeper fears than spiders and centipedes. Tell me some things that get you anxious, make your adrenaline kick in. If you can’t think of anything off the top of your head tell me something from a particular movie or book that made your skin crawl. I’m writing a supernatural-horror script currently and I’ve got a good enough plot, just need some fillers for heebie-jeebie effect please.
something/someone grabbing your foot if it sticks out from under the covers while sleeping. good luck with your script.
walking through a tunnel with two guys on both sides who are trying to kill me.
The end of mankind

Things that make odd noises in the dark. And heights.
The burger king guy…yes I’m serious. I have to look away when the commercials come on. Just a freaky looking thing he is.
hmm..the dark! well, whats in the dark.
i read this scary story one time where this girl heard noise downstairs and thought it was her friend leaving and then she went to sleep well these crazy people had gotten loose and the police came but long story short she thought that it was her pet dog licking her hand all night…..it was really a human (sorry if the story was confusing it was a lot longer than this this is just my short version)! it would freak me out if something or someone were under my bed. i check every night. once when i was a little kid i heard something growling under my bed so i ran screaming to my parents room lol….well not really lol, it was more of an AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH moment it wasnt that funny at the time. or now. if somethin was under my bed—i would probably pee my pants.
saw is scary. like the weird stuff he says and the music in the background+the contrapions he makes to kill people.
i hate enclosed spaces. lots of people do i think. makes me start to hyperventilate.
watch the show supernatural its pretty scary you might get some good ideas from it.
ohhh, and if my horse ever died, it would be scary. actually i would probably just go insane and like run around like a chicken with its head cut off…….before attacking whomever hurt my horsey. but, whatever. Goodbye!!!! hope i helped.
I have a weird thing when i get up at night and it’s dark and I don’t want to turn any lights on to wake up my partner…. I’m terrified of walking into a knife or a sword, I know it’s mental … what is the likely hood of someone just sranding there in the dark with a sword pointed at me, I just wonder how far onto it you would walk before you noticed the pain, you are half asleep, it’s pitch black, and not something to expect.
I know, I’m weird.
I find anyone in a mask (preferably a simple mask like a sack or just plain black or white) very creepy. There is something weird about not knowing who is there, looking at you. I also find that people who wear masks act differently when they are wearing them, like the anonymity of it changes them.
Other things that are creepy:
Barely audible whispers in the dark
Characters who do the opposite of what you expect. The original Halloween is a good example of this. When Michael just stands there looking (scenes where he is following Laurie), you expect him to move or do something but he doesn’t and the fact that he just stays there unmoving and silent is very creepy.
