Tempted by a Deep Wrinkle Filler? Find Out What is Effective and Safe
A deep wrinkle filler recently launched on the market has attracted a lot of attention. In one review, it only got a two out of five science rating, so I thought there must be something wrong! I looked further and I discovered quite a few things which the unsuspecting customer might have missed.
This deep wrinkle filler is boasting some rather new and special ingredients so let us examine them for safety and effectiveness because that is the bottom line, as far as I am concerned.
The product is based on some natural ingredients which the manufacturers say will relax facial muscles and a relaxed face means fewer wrinkles. The first one is kombuchka which comes from black tea and that means it is a good antioxidant. The second one is gatuline which is a plant extract, from the Acmella Oleracea plant to be exact. These two then can relax the face muscles but they do not provide any clinical evidence of this to support the claim so that made me really suspicious.
The third ingredient I already know about. It is called Argireline and it is a peptide and that again relaxes the muscles. But this one has attracted some negative attention in that the only studies done on this are produced by the company making this product. Could this be possibly subjective?
Then I read other sources about Argireline, which is also known as Botox in a bottle. This is because it actually acts on the neurotransmitters which control facial muscles and tells them to relax. But there have been cases of drooping muscles and skin sagging because it seems that this needs to be studied further. The review I read was a bit alarming in that they had only done test tube studies and no control cream was used at all.
Moving swiftly on to a deep wrinkle filler that would really work, I discovered that one company had developed some revolutionary ingredients which would tackle the growth of collagen and the preservation of HA. It is these two elements which will really make a difference to whether you are going to be able to reduce the deep wrinkles or not.
