Vi Peel – Day 11 My skin looked pretty today!

Day 11 of my Vi Peel and my skin look good today. I used my St. Ives Apricot Scrub (shhh! don’t tell my aesthetician!) and Queen Helene’s Mint Julip mask and was happy with my glowing skin!

The Vi Peel does really work but I must say it took two treatments for me to really see good results. It was not as painfull the second time around nor did it take as long to heal. Yours look great. I would love to see more results f you since this video.

Hi I just completed my first vipeel precision version. I’m currently on Day 5 and have completely peeled however, my skin is still red. I’m just curious on what day did your redness start going away completely? thanks your video was very helpful.

@imaginaryday11 how long did it take for the redness to disappear? I’m currently on my 5th day and everything is fine except I still have some redness. your videos are great thanks for posting them.

  6. gavytrini says:

@imaginaryday11 how long before you saw redness go away?

  7. imaginaryday11 says:

@gavytrini Hi! Thanks for viewing my videos and commenting. I intend to make more soon. I felt the VI Peel was not worth the time, pain, and expense for me personally…but others have commented that it was good for them. It was awhile before the redness went away for me….probably close to 2 weeks and I had a white ring around my mouth for awhile! I will say that I’ve noticed a few freckles that the IPL laser seemed to remove have come back recently. Grrrr…!!!

Hi! Thanks so much for posting these videos. I just had the vi peel done this morning and had such severe burning that I had to wash my face within 2 hours. Can you tell me what your final impression of the vi was?

    Angie

  9. imaginaryday11 says:

@noxgoddess Hi! You are very welcome! My final impression of my own personal experience with the VI Peel is I wouldn’t do it again! If I ever do a peel again, I would talk with my aesthetician about trying something different. I really didn’t see any results from the peel other than having baby fresh (but painful and red) skin for a couple weeks.

  10. imaginaryday11 says:

@anitafrmn That is awesome! I am glad you had a positive experience with the peel. Perhaps I too needed to do a second peel to see results. I had such a painful experience with my first though that I am not sure about trying it again! Thanks for your comment. There are others that have reported they did have a good experience with the peel. I would caution people with sensitive skin though. :)

    Hi:

Thaks for your videos. Along your vi peel videos I thing that you said that you did IPL and microdermabrassion. If you did microdermabrassion I want to ask you 3 things:

1st downtime. I mean REAL downtime, you know how the people are in order to sell you their products, they say no downtmie at all and now thanks to youtube I know that vi peel has downtime…how about microderm?
2nd How much time microderm last? a couple of weeks?
3rd How much care agains sun do I have to do have?

  12. RafaelMoreno1968 says:

    Hi:
Thanks for the videos. I saw your vi peel series and you said that you did IPL and microdermabrasion so about microderm I have 3 questions:
1st REAL downtime..how much time to go back to public/work with anybody notice something?
2nd How much microdermabrasion last? Just few weeks?
3rd Do I have to hide from the sun in order to avoid permanents patch? For how much time?
    Thx in advance

@RafaelMoreno1968 Hi, Rafael! You are very welcome! 1) Your face might be a little red for a few hours after, but nothing major. I wouldn’t do a Mircroderm they DAY OF an important event…do a couple days before. 2) Microderm is something you have to be committed to doing REGULARLY. As our skin layers build up, we need the Microderm to blast them off for smoother skin. 3) Daily sun care! I hope you do too! Thanks for your questions! I do highly recommend MICRODERM. :)

  14. imaginaryday11 says:

@RafaelMoreno1968 Hi again, Rafael! I think I answered your Microderm questions in your previous post to me, but… I will add that YES, you should avoid the sun if you are having Microderm treatments. The fresh skin that surfaces after treatment must be carefully protected from more damage by the sun. I don’t recommend Microderm if you plan on being out in the direct sun within a couple days afterward. When I had my VI Peel, my skin was so baby fresh that I wore a scarf over my face!

Was this the last video? What was your final result? I’m thinking of getting it done, but I’m such a chicken s$%^. I’m 29 and I have acne scars. I always thought that getting a peel was for older women, but my skin care consultant said that young kids get the peel too. I’m so freaked out after watching your videos. Dont know if I want the vi peel anymore I think ill live with my acne scars

  16. imaginaryday11 says:

@diana351 Hi, Diana! Thanks for watching my videos. “Vi Peel – Day 11″ is the last one I produced. I intend to do some on Obaji Clenziderm, great product! From what I understand, you would need a series of several Vi Peels to reduce the appearance of acne scars. Supposedly IPL laser treatments work on acne scars, too, but again…you would likely need several before seeing an improvement. The basic premise of both treatments is to “inure” your skin, causing you to produce more collagen/elastin.

    Hi:

It is Rafael Again and I appreciate a lot the response that you gave me 3 weeks ago. I am just wondering how is possible to treat the redness in my face. It is the VI Peel effective? How do you feel the long term result? I am afraid of have a good fresh skin -off of sun damage spots- and go back to normal 3 weeks after treatment!

  18. imaginaryday11 says:

@RafaelMoreno1968 Hi, Rafael! Good to hear back from you on how your are doing. My face was red for a few weeks, and I had a white ring around my mouth! It did eventually fade and go away as my skin healed. My long-term result from the one Vi Peel treatment I had about a year ago wasn’t impressive. However, it is important to note that others had good results. Some of my viewers indicated that you do see results if you do several Vi Peels. My challenge in testing that for myself is it hurts!

  19. diana351 says:

@imaginaryday11 I haven’t gotten the peel yet, I chicken out. Is there an age requirement to get a peel?

  20. imaginaryday11 says:

@diana351 Hi! Thanks for viewing and commenting on my video! I am sorry you are scared! I have to say that I’ve rec’d feedback from others saying that they had a better experience then I did & the more peels you get the more effective they are. I, personally, have very sensitive skin! I would love for others to post vids of their experience so there can be a fair representation. I don’t know if there is an age requirement for the Vi Peel, BUT, I would not have anyone younger than 18 do the peel.

  21. Zobelise says:

I’m on my day 11 after receiving the Vi Peel. It’s the first one I’ve had, and I must say it’s not for the faint of heart. The first couple of days are ok, just a little sore and red. However, by the time you start peeling it is extremely uncomfortable, not to mention unsightly. It’s very sore and if you don’t have the proper topical creams for your face it can even be quite painful. Overall, I had a slight improvement in skin tone and texture. Nothing to write home about though, unfortunately.

  22. BlkJag08 says:

I got the Obagi Blue peel instead of the Jessner only because the Jessner does not have TCA in it. TCA is supposed to be stronger. Well, I got absolutely ZERO results with the Blue peel. I paid $500. I was soooo pissed off. Does the peel you got have TCA in it?
    Thanks…

  23. imaginaryday11 says:

@BlkJag08 Hi, there! It does have the TCA in it. My aesthetician said it has few different types of acids that all work differently on different layers of skin. I’m sorry to hear the Obaji Blue Peel left you with zero results. I’ve had great success with the Obaji Clenziderm, and have stuck with that since first trying it after my Vi Peel. It’s frustrating, I know to spend so much money on big treatments that net little results. I say stick with clean diet, great skincare, and sunscreen!

Sea Monkeys and Filter? YOU RULE. You look fabulous and have an AwEsOmE personality. We may be 40 but we DON’t have to look or act it ;)

I live by the random proliferations of goo and yum emanating from my brains (plural). Gotta love Sea Monkeys AND FILTER. Together and separately. With and/or without a gallon of fried rice and gold-plated toothpick. Thanks for the comment!
