TCA Peel from Platinum Skin Care.mp4
TCA will improve color, freshness, texture, skin tone, and fine wrinkles. It will also improve superficial discoloration, such as age spots. It may improve blotches and is generally considered safe for darker skinned individuals.
TCA strengths available are 12.5%, 20% and 30%.
This is an attractive and helpful video. I have been taught that one should never apply emu oil immediately after any peel due to emu oil’s trans dermal properties. Could this practice cause the peel solution to travel deeper into the skin layers?
@artisanlaser That would be correct if the acid was not already neutralized. We never apply any Emu oil to the skin while the peel is in progress. Once the skin’s proteins have coagulated and the peel has ended, then an ointment can be applied. We love the Emu oil since it is transdermal, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory. Thank you for the comment.
I’d like to see some before and after photos from this peel process.

After the peel, should you continue to moisturize your skin excessively? In intervals? And can you use olive oil instead of emu oil? And finally, when you purchase TCA peels online, do they normally come with some base coat for your skin?
Thank you.
@mangokitty13 – Hello. Yes, you will always want to moisturize your skin after any peel. It provides for a better peel. I would think that your Olive Oil moisturizer should be just fine. You want to keep the skin hydrated with healing products. As for the base-coat. Are you referring to a Prep solution? Yes, indeed ours comes with a Prep B solution which is 90% alcohol and 1% phenol (for a slight numbing sensation). You may also request a free sample of our Emu oil at the checkout process.
Is this a safe procedure to do on oneself at home?
Will this improve redness and acne, blackheads and overproduction sebaceous glands in skin…?
@KindnessIsInOurPower — The TCA 12.5% is a very mild peel actually. TCA gets its strength by being applied in multiple layers. Only 1 layer is quite safe for home usage. Prep your skin for 2 weeks with a Fading Gel/RetinA or Retinol/Glycolic serum etc… to get your stratum corneum even and slightly thinned. You will achieve a better peel this way. Also, use an Antioxidant (such as High Octane Vitamin C Serum) and SPF every day to prepare. Best wishes.
I did the 20% in 2009 2 layers. I had some sun damage. I purchased it from this company. Now for 7 days I looked like a hot mess with the darkening and peeling but once it was over no more sun damage. I highly recommend this company and will be repeating the process soon
@josephga007 — We are very glad to hear your sun damage has been removed. Remember to keep it away by using High Octane Vitamin C daily and also a broad sun block of at least SPF 30.
Choose the best skin care product that has SPF. it is deeply penetrate and soothe in skin. It gives you more radiant and illuminate your skin. It enlighten your skin. It is safe to you.
