Should I have a Juvederm injection in my lips?

I have an appointment to do it, but wanted to see if anyone could give me an idea of what to expect and what your experience was. Did you like it? Are you glad you did it? Was it worth the money? Did it last? thanks so much for your responses in advance!

If you are going to have lip augmentation make sure you are going to a physician who has a lot of experience with it. I will tell you that Juvederm Ultra or Juvederm Ultra Plus are the dermal fillers I use for lip augmentation ONLY. They have the best consistency and natural feel. Also, Juvederm Ultra and Ultra plus now come mixed with lidocaine. The lips are very sensitive so the injection can be somewhat painful so I would suggest the doctor use a topical anesthetic for at least 30 minutes as well as use the juvederm that is mixed with lidocaine.
The doctor should do a fair amount of massaging of the lips after injection to make certain the lips are smooth and even. Also, I would rarely use more than one syringe for lip augmentation. You want the lips to be fuller yet natural in appearance.
There may be some bruising and slight tenderness afterward, but by and large the most pain is with getting the injections themselves. Also, the typical cost for this is around $600. My clients universally have been very happy they have had it done.
    I hope this helps!
