I have hyper hydrosis in my armpits and i want the botox shot?
I have hyperhydrosis REALLY badly in my armpits and i was wondering…did anyone out there get the botox shot for it? is it expensive? does it hurt? and how often do i have to get it? also… i tried all the perscription brand antipersperants and they didn’t work so please don’t recomend that. thanks a bunch!! =]
I’ve received Myobloc injections at my neurologist’s office. I get them every 3-4 months in my arm pits, back and palms. It is a bit painful and takes about 45 minutes. Side effects include constipation, dry mouth and dry eyes but they only last one or two weeks. The bill runs about $3000 and is not covered by insurance. Botox is botulism toxin type A, while mybloc is type B. Hope this helps.
