ve just been messing around with some ideas on a novel I could write, and I’ve gotten to the point where I want to write. But I need some names!! I have some descriptions on the characters, and how their personalities will be, too. But keep in mind I’m not far with this, so even just some place fillers would work till I think of the best names.
kay, here are a few characters:
1. Female, 19 year old college student living in DC (or LA.. I need a big gang filled city) she’s a submissive type girl with a controlling boyfriend (she’s only submissive because he’s so controlling and protective). She has a strong side, but it hasn’t come through yet thanks to everyone who keeps beating her down. A follower who is deeply troubled in her family life. She’s a smart chick, majoring in chemistry, and was valedictorian of her high school class. She has long dark brown hair and is very attractive with pale skin and light freckles. But she’s very quiet and almost scary with her "emo" like personality. She’s about 5’6′ and very slender and frail with a lot of scars (has had problems with anorexia and cutting in her teen years). She’s not unpopular, but not popular either. Thanks to her looks she’s liked by a lot of the jocks, but that causes issues with the popular cheerleader type girls.
2. The controlling bf mentioned above. He started out as her friend, and then forced himself apon her as her boyfriend. He’s very very protective, to the point of possesion and having to know where she is at all times. He’s a very attractive running-back on his college football team, very fast and strong – which he uses to his advantage. He has a past of being physically abusive, and has already hit his gf numerous times. (She doesn’t leave because she believes it’s her fault) He is 20, and is 6 feet tall. blonde short spikey hair, very "hot" in the eyes of the girls at school. His dad was abusive to his mother, and left when he was only 8 years old.
3. Male, "tall dark and handsome" 6’3" and has had issues with gangs throughout his life. His mother died in a hit and run, and his father struggles to support him and his little sister in their downtown ghetto apartment. He joins a gang to earn money to help his struggling family, but gets stuck. Strong personality, protective but not possesive or controlling like the guy above. Dark eyes, and I’m not sure what ethnicity he should be. (american or african american) Not a bad kid, in the beginning, but is slipping. 20 years old, sophmore at same college.

Okay,, i know that was long and unorganized, but I just wrote random facts and ideas. They may not even fit :\ So.. if you need anymore info tell me.
So what names do you think would fit? Anything works as long as it’s not too out there and isn’t hard to pronounce. But I don’t want super common names for all of them either.
